Sometimes, The Doors Don’t Stop

I found out this morning, that not all doors will keep open just because it has a sensor. Or at least it’s supposed to have one just in case someone rushes through. It turns out that those big heavy metal elevator doors are quite capable of squashing someone.

And today, that someone was me. Although more or less unscathed (with the exception of some pain shortly after, I found out just how aggressive elevator doors can be. Oh, and by the way, I’m not stupid or lack a sense of cautiousness, but I really was just trying to get to class in one piece.
